Shattered On Saturday has recently decided to change its name to Among The Divided. The band thought it was time for a new name after having lost 2 key members and adding 2 new members. Among The Divided will still be bringing you the same great music as Shattered On Saturday did just with a slightly different touch. We hope to be bringing you a new website soon but until then please add us on myspace at www.myspace.com/amongthedivided and on facebook.

Unfortunately, we had to make a tough decision to let our drummer Chris Lusuriello go today. It was a mutual decision, and the band and Chris are still great friends, but things as a band just haven’t worked out the way they thought. Look out for Chris and SOS to be doing separate projects locally!

Hey guys, its been a while since I’ve been on here to post something. Just wanted to give you all of the info on the B.O.B at the Lincoln.

Ok so there are 8 bands. Stolen Youth, Chaos & Clockwork, The Sights Of Sound, Silent Promise, Stereo in Stasis, Boys Of Grit, Graffiti Monkeys, and of course us. The show is at The Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh (126 E. Cabarrus ST 27601). There’s a really big prize for the winner and also great prizes for the 2nd and 3rd place bands.

The bands are judged on Musicianship (how good is the band), Vocal (obvious), Stage Presence (how well is the band on stage), Songwriting (how well are the songs, do they all sound alike?), Set Quality (do the songs flow well), and here’s the big one for you ok, CROWD RESPONSE!!! WE NEED ALL OF YOU TO GO CRAZY FOR SHATTERED ON SATURDAY THE WHOLE SHOW!!! seriously, make signs, wear our shirts, make your own shirt, anything to support us. We’ve got some good competition and need all the help we can get!!!

WE HAVE TO SELL TICKETS!!! alright so we have to sell 50 tickets for this show. So be sure to buy them from us ok? they are $8 from us or $10 at the door.

Miles Is Leaving The Band And We Need A New Bassist!

We are extremely sad to anounce that Miles is leaving the band after over 2 years of being in the band. Miles has been a essential and intricate part of the Shattered On Saturday family and he will be deeply missed. Miles’s last show with Shattered On Saturday will be Friday February 27th at the Cary Band Night.

Moving on Shattered On Saturday WILL continue to carry on. That being said we are currently searching for a long term bassist to not replace Miles since he is irreplaceable but we will be filling the void left by him. If anyone want to contact us about auditions do so on our myspace. Thank you for your continued support.
